I do not claim to have a green thumb - only a green pinky.  I do love these pink columbines that have been blooming for the past few years in my front flower bed.  Last year I took the photo that you  see on my home page and blog page, and I consider it the Mama of Letter’s signature photo.  From it, I created my watermark and it also graces my business cards.  I am equally pleased with the photo I took above, but then again, it’s not too hard to capture such a beautiful thing that also stays still.  Ha.

    Speaking of flowers, I almost did not get outside to take photos of any of them this year, which would have been a shame.  These two children are running me in circles, but I’m happy to do so.  I know this time will go by fast, and it won’t be long before these boys are too busy for their mama.

    But I’m very grateful for the few minutes I did find to take my camera on a walk around my yard, and I’m more grateful for this moment that I get to share this image for you.
