We’ve been digging in the dirt this week, and it’s never too hard to find this when I’m pulling weeds and other unwanted growth from my garden.  But this time I was happy to show it to Aidan so that he can connect all those acorns that we gather in the fall to the big, towering trees surrounding our house.

    I was going to throw it out, but Aidan began to dig a hole for it.  I directed him out of my garden, and now he has his own little tree growing in a pot.
